123D circuits: Simulador de programas Arduino

En esta entrada os voy a introducir el programa 123D circuits, un software basado en la web que sirve para simular programas de Arduino. Requiere tener una cuenta en el sitio web circuits.io (la cuál es gratuita). Cualquier cosa que diseñes se encuentra en la nube: puedes colaborar con los demás o incrustar el circuito (con funcionamiento de simulación) directamente en una página web.

Una vez registrados en la página, acedemos a ella y nos aparecerá una pantalla similar a la que aparece a continuación.

 Para empezar un nuevo proyecto damos a New (arriba a la derecha) y nos aparecerá un menú a la derecha.

 En este menú podemos elegir si queremos poner los componentes en una protoboard y simularlos, si queremos diseñar una PCB o si queremos diseñar un componente para la PCB.
En esta entrada vamos a empezar por New electronics Lab ya que lo que queremos es simular un programa de Arduino.



Vamos a realizar un ejemplo facilillo, el blink típico de Arduino.

Lo primero que tenemos que hacer es insertar los componentes. Buscamos el Arduino UNO, un led y una resistencia. Para colocar estos elementos en la protoboard solo hay que pinchar el componente y arrastrarlo donde queramos. Para el cableado solo hay que pinchar en un agujero de la protoboard y después en un pin del Arduino.
Se puede cambiar el valor de la resistencia y el color tanto del led como del cableado, para ello hay que pinchar sobre el componente y aparecerá un cuadro donde te deja cambiarlo.

Una vez que tenemos el diseño toca escribir el código. Para ello pulsamos en  Code editor. Nos aprecerá el código del blink ya escrito (solo hay que cambiar el pin del led).

Si no nos aparece el código, le escribimos o le copiamos del programa de Arduino.

Una vez que tengamos el código damos a Upload & Run para compilar y cargar el código, y al momento empezará la simulación (si el código está bien escrito).
Para parar la simulación solo hay que dar a Stop simulation.
